I produce mental and physical traction through time management and constant activity.
Consistent action and good time management skills keep me focused on where I want to go. Therefore, I take the time to plan my day according to my priorities and then follow my schedule to the best of my ability.
It's like having enough traction on the tires of my car. Traction keeps it from slipping and sliding on the road so I don't end up in a ditch somewhere. Likewise, time management is like a set of good tires. They keep me from slipping off into distractions.
I find that the more I improve my time management skills, the easier it is for me to stay on track.
For example, scheduling some easy tasks first allows me to get started quickly and build momentum. Building in flexibility in my schedule gives me the time to deal with important distractions so I can get back to my tasks with time to spare.
Constant activity enables me to be productive. One of the laws of physics states that a body in motion tends to stay in motion, while a body at rest tends to stay at rest. It takes more energy to get a body at rest going again than it does to just keep it going.
With this knowledge, I limit my periods of inactivity, like sitting on the couch watching TV. I know how hard it is to get back up and get motivated for my tasks again, so I rest when my body or mind needs rest, and I stay active the majority of the time.
Today, I am taking the time to create an efficient, flexible schedule so I can stay active until my tasks are done.

2. How can I include some flexibility in my schedule?
3. How much time do I spend watching TV when I could be working toward my goals?

we are all blessed every day and in every way we are blessed with the power of choice. Everyday we make choices of how our life is going to play out today. I don't mean that we literally sit down and say to our selves, this is the game plan for today.  But, all the same, this is the way we put it out there every minute of every day. What we think about matters. What we think about brings it to us immediately in some cases.  Depending on how great the thought, if you have a bad day, or a good one.  It starts out  small.  You prick a finger, bump a keee, trip,  then before you know it some other thing happens.  It builds throughout the day just by you giving thought to it. Try this,  if you do hurt yourself in some way  ignor it.  Smile, say its ok and forget about it, and see what happens next.  Take mental note,  observe, and see for your self the difference.  Pull from your memory some past event which happened to you reflect on the negative thought  that followed that event see where it ended  and compare.  I have done this myself just to see if it did have any bearing  and guess what,I could tell my good attitude helped me to over look the negative event and carry me with good thoughts til the end of the day. Its called monitoring your thoughts.  This is not always easily done sinse we have billions and billions of thoughts but we can learn just by being a silent observer of ourselves see you in action watch you  and how you act, move, & think. find out about you by making an obseraviton of your self because guess what You Make It Happen  Every day and this happens when you start thinking right thoughts so take charge of your life by taking charge of your thoughts think positive action is followed by thought  the thought is the action

Overcoming a Distorted Body Image 

If you look to TV, the media, or any form of advertising, chances are you're viewing unrealistic images of women. Unfortunately, some women feel that, in order to be accepted, they need to have unrealistic weight goals and a distorted body image.

 There is no wonder why health issues like anorexia pop up in developed countries. We are told that thinner is better and we might be tempted to take it to the extreme. However, for the majority of women, drastic weight goals are unattainable and severely detrimental to our health.  The Answer to an Unrealistic Body Image 

It isn't always easy, but the answer is to accept ourselves for who we are. When we learn to love ourselves just as we are, we open up to accept love from others. In order to do this we need to change the way we think. There are certain pieces of advice we can use in order to change our previous patterns of thinking.

 Here are some tips for overcoming a distorted body image: 1.      Understanding Imperfection. Everyone is "imperfect" in some way or another. If you wait until you're perfect to enjoy your life you'll never get the chance to enjoy it. 

·         The ladies from the magazines are imperfect too. Images are touched up and women are made to look thinner, without blemishes.

 

2.      Don't Talk About It. One of the important steps toward having a better body image is to talk less about the things you find imperfect.

 

·         When you get together with your friends try not to say things like: "I wish I had better thighs" or "if only I had clear skin."

·         This piece of advice also works for your internal dialog. Whenever you catch yourself thinking negative things about yourself, stop!

 

3.      Focus on the Good. Spend less time worrying about the things you don't like, and spend more time focusing on what you do like about your body.

 
  • A woman's body is an amazing thing. It can create life and nourish children. It should be loved, honored, respected, and appreciated - especially by you!
 

4.      Set Attainable Goals. Of course there are certain imperfections that you can do something about. If this is the case, it's important to set realistic and attainable goals.

 
  • If you're overweight, set a weight loss goal that's within your normal weight range. Don't overdo it!

  • If you suffer from face blemishes, try different facial soaps and use an acne prevention gel to prevent pimples.
 

5.      Study the Problem. It may help you to gain an awareness of the widespread problem of body image issues in developed countries. Read some books or do additional research online. Just having an understanding can help you change your perspective.

 

6.      Know When to Get Help. Sometimes body image issues will go above and beyond the average problem and manifest itself as a Body Dysmorphic Disorder. If you think you're imperfect at all times, and you refuse to go out in public unless you have a great deal of time to spend on your appearance, you may have a problem. It can help to speak with a counselor about your thoughts and feelings.

 Believe In Yourself 

Most people aren't going to be 100% happy with themselves at all times, and that's okay. After all, it's important to question yourself from time to time so you can make positive lifestyle changes.

 

However, you have to learn to love yourself the way you are. Getting too caught up with your body image can make you miss out on the joys in your life!

I let go of any desire to be perfect. I know

that striving for perfection is futile and a

waste of my precious time and energy.

Besides,
if I were perfect, it would

take away the very qualities that

enhance me.
Why would I ever want to

do that?

My imperfections bring me the joy of

learning and discovery. From time to time,

I even find new talents and strengths

within me that I never knew I had and find

fulfillment in developing them. If I were

perfect, none of these experiences would

exist.

It is my imperfection that brings love

into my life.
People who love me do so

because of my unique blend of

imperfections - not because I am perfect.

Striving to be perfect would not make

them love me any more than they do now.

In fact, perfection would make me an

unwanted stranger!

Through the years, my imperfections have

brought me many varied experiences and

made me who I am today. They appear

and fade at different intervals of my life,

continuing my own unique life-long

journey.
They are as integral to my

life as my heart!

Today, I choose to find joy in my

imperfections and welcome them as the

life-fulfilling entities that they are.

When I pursue my dreams, the world conspires to help me achieve it.
In order to actually pursue the life of my dreams, I need to be proactive. Taking action is the key! When I take action to move toward my goals and actively seek solutions to challenges, I find that success is invariably mine.
A dream is still just a dream - and it will remain that way - until I set things in motion with some action. For this reason, when I have a dream that I would like to see come into fruition, I make an action plan to guide me to success.
I turn my dreams into concrete goals that I can achieve. I then divide these goals into attainable tasks that will, when completed, let me arrive at the destination I desire.
Next, I arrange my to-do list so there are some quick, easy tasks at the beginning. This allows me to dive right in - taking action toward my goals and building momentum to carry me through the harder tasks.
When a challenge arises, as I know it will, instead of sitting around bemoaning my bad luck, I take it in stride and immediately seek a solution. Then I take action to overcome it and get back on track toward my goal.
That's the way the world is: it rewards those who take action. As long as I am actively involved in moving toward my goal, I know that, eventually, I will get there!
Today, I choose to take decisive action toward my goals, making an action plan and putting it into motion by jumping right in!
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. Have I made my action plan with steps that will guide me toward my goals?
2. What tasks can I complete today to get me moving in the right direction?
3. Am I facing a challenge that I can overcome with some decisive action?

I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU WANT TO HELP YOURSELF, YOU SHOULD HELP OTHERS. I DID NOT ALWAYS BEILIVE THIS. THERE WERE TIMES IN MY LIFE WHEN IT WAS ALL I  COULD DO TO HELP MYSELF. I COULD NOT SEE PAST MY OWN PROBLEMS TO FIND A SOLUTION. BUT THANK GOD THAT THERE WERE OTHER PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO COULD SEE THAT I NEEDED HELP. AND THEY DID NOT HAVE A PROBLEM PULLING UP A CHAIR TO FIND OUT WHAT MY NEEDS WERE. AND BECAUSE OF THOSE PEOPLE I AM STILL HERE DOING WELL PRAISE GOD  BEING BLESSED AND ABLE TO TELL THE STORY. THANK GOD, THAT I LEARNED THAT WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. I NOW LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL APARTMENT IN A AREA THAT SEEMED IMPOSSIBLE TO LIVE, AND WORK AT A JOB THATS NOT THE ANSWER TO ALL OF MY PRAYERS BUT IT HELPS PAY THE BILLS AND KEEP THE WOLF FROM MY DOOR. GOD BLESSES ME EVERY SINGLE DAY TO WAKE UP, TO GET UP, TO BREATH, TO HEAR, TO TALK, TO WALK, AND TO DO ALL THE THINGS THAT MOST OF US TAKE FOR GRANTED. EVERY DAY I HEAR ABOUT HOW BAD THE ECONOMY IS AND HOW TERRIBLE THINGS ARE GOING AND AWFUL THIS AND AWFUL THAT. WHAT I DO  IS THANK GOD AND TRY TO BE A BLESSING TO ANY ONE THAT I CAN BE A BLESSING TO. SMILING TO SOMEONE WHO MAY NEED THAT SMILE OR GREETING SOMEONE WHO NEEDS A GREETING OR GIVING A FEW COINS TO SOMEONE THAT NEEDED IT AND THANKING GOD I WAS ABLE TO GIVE IT.
